"Is my child required to wear a uniform?"
Yes.  WLA uses uniforms in order to provide a level playing field to all students regardless of socioeconomic background.  WLA focuses on character
building from the inside out.  Students have 30 days from the time of enrollment to obtain a uniform.

"Where do I get the uniforms?"
Uniforms, other than boots, are sold at both the high school and middle school.  Prices may change periodically, so please call for the most recent pricing.  If you are not able to afford a uniform, our uniform manager may be able to make alternate arrangements.

"What are the bus fees?"
    $40 per month per household.*

"Are there any additional fees?"
$50 book fee; $50 administration fee*

"What are the requirements for my child to attend?"
WLA does not require any prerequisites - children of any grade and academic standing may be enrolled, but we will not enroll students while they are expelled or suspended from another school.  After their expulsion or suspension period, we will be glad to consider your child for enrollment.

"Is WLA a military school?"
WLA is not a military school but a military style school that provides students with structure, order, consistency, leadership, and accountability in a
manner that rewards accomplishments and success.

"What grades do you service?"
6th – 12th.  Grades 6-8 are at the 2nd Battalion in Mohawk, while grades 9-12 are at the 1st Battalion in Goshen.

footing in order to foster an atmosphere of success for their futures.

"What events can the students participate in?"
Christmas and Veterans Day parades, color guard, field training exercises, fundraising activities, and community service projects.

"What types of vocational education do you offer?"
Small engine repair, home maintenance, gardening, peer support, and journalism.

"What is this 'company' system?"
At WLA, cadets are divided into "Companies," which are essentially the cadet's homeroom class.  Companies are mainly assigned based on grade level.  Alpha company is the seniors, while Foxtrot company is freshmen.  Each day, cadets will have a brief homeroom period where they will meet with their companies and inspect uniforms, shine boots, check grades, etc.
